Warm-Up
  • Share some ways you have experienced and seen God’s faithfulness in your life.
  • 1,000 Days Devotional: What has made an impact on you or stuck with you as you have spent time in the Word and worked through the devotional this past week?
Know It

Read Psalm 126:1–6. Discuss with your group and questions you have and ideas that stand out to you.

1. What stands out to you about the way the people remember God’s faithfulness?

2. What does the passage emphasize about the process between planting and harvest?

3. In verses 4–6, what changes in the tone or focus of the psalm?
What is the psalmist asking God to do, and what do you notice about the contrast between “sowing with tears” and “reaping with shouts of joy”?

Own It

1. Share a time when you experienced God’s faithfulness in a way that brought you joy, hope, or renewed perspective? How does remembering that moment affect how you view your current circumstances?

2. Read the following passages:
Psalm 126:6 – Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.
1 Corinthians 3:6 – I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.

What do these passages teach us about faithfully participating in what God is doing while trusting Him for the growth and results? What stands out to you, and how does this challenge or encourage you in your own life?

Next Steps

1. What might God be inviting you to become, pursue, repair, begin, or let go of in this season? Take time to write down your dream and one thing you can do this week to move toward that dream God has given you.

2. Who has God placed around you that might need encouragement, help, friendship, or practical support? What can you do this week to sow into someone else’s life?

Challenge

Spend time every day in the Word, in prayer and in your 1000 Day’s book. Journal or write down one thing God is showing you.

This weeks passages point us toward community, celebrating what God has done, and being part of what God is doing through us as a whole.

As a group, identify one person, family, or need you can serve together.
Don’t make it complicated. Simply ask:
Who can we help?
What can we do?
When will we do it?

Please reach out to our group’s team if you have any questions or would like some ideas for serving as a group.
