You’re Building A Legacy Right Now.

Didn’t have a chance to hear the message yet? Watch it HERE.

Warm-Up
  1. What stories of God’s faithfulness have you inherited from parents, grandparents, mentors, or other Christians? How have those stories shaped your faith?
  2. 1,000 Days Devotional: As you wrap up your final week in your devotional, share one common theme you keep coming back to.
Know It

Read Psalm 78:1-7. For more in-depth study and reading, take time to read Psalm 78 in its entirety. Discuss with your group questions you have and themes that stand out to you.

  1. What is revealed to us about the responsibility of one generation toward the next?
  2. What does this passage teach about the relationship between remembering, trusting, and obedience?
  3. How does Psalm 78 challenge the idea that faith is simply a private relationship between an individual and God?
Own It
  1. What ordinary parts of your life are actually shaping the people around you?
  2. What is one part of your walk with Jesus that you would genuinely want someone else to imitate? What is one area where you would be uncomfortable if someone copied your current habits?
  3. Psalm 78 emphasizes telling the next generation about “the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.”

What stories of God’s faithfulness do you need to tell more often? How could that impact your walk with God and others?

Next Steps
  1. Who is one person you could intentionally encourage, disciple, mentor, or invest?
  2. What is one action you can do this week to move forward as you look to leave a legacy?
Challenge
  1. This week spend time every day in the Word, in prayer and in your 1000 Day’s book. Journal or write down one thing God is showing you.
  2. What next steps are you going to take in light of what you have heard from God through this series and spending time in the 1000 Day’s Devotional? Share that with your group or a friend.

Imagine what your life can look like in 1000 Days and how that could impact those around you!
