Purpose of Role:
The Next Steps Ministry Assistant supports the mission of Journey Church through excellent and effective administrative support, utilizing all facets of the ministry processes for the Next Steps Ministry. The Next Steps Ministry team is made up of the Growth Track, Care, and Groups Ministry teams.

Primary Tasks:

• Planning, organizing, and running Baptism and Growth Track events on Sundays.
• Collaborate and assist with administrative needs for the Next Steps Pastor.
• Communicate effectively as a first point of contact representing the Next Steps Pastor.
• Facilitate and coordinate all needs for managing, planning, and follow-up for all ministry programming and events with the Next Steps Pastor.
• Streamline all facets of ministry administrative processes.

Total compensation range is $52,000—$65,000 per year. Applications will be accepted through August 31, 2026.

Purpose of Role:
The Facilities Custodian assists all ministries of Journey Church to fulfill the calling of God by maintaining best practices for cleaning Journey Church owned facilities as well as by assisting in projects to provide well maintained facilities.

Primary Tasks:

• Maintain the cleanliness of Journey Church owned buildings
• Manage all cleaning janitorial supplies needed for Journey Church owned buildings Sundays- rotate between the two Journey Church owned buildings to support the location teams as needed
• Assist with HVAC and entry access online schedules
• Assist with small maintenance projects inside the buildings
• Assist with growing the Shuttle Driver team

Total compensation range is $48,000—$52,000 per year. Applications will be accepted through August 31, 2026.

Journey Church Residency and Internship Programs are designed to help emerging church leaders understand and develop the calling God has put on their life. Through hands-on experience working in church ministry, participants hone leadership skills, explore personal growth, and refine their faith in Jesus Christ.
