Purpose of Role:
The Student Director is instrumental in shaping the spiritual journey of middle and high school students from grades 6th to 12th at the Journey Parker location. Their leadership guides these students through pivotal years, fostering growth, alignment with the church’s vision, and meaningful relationships.

Primary Tasks:

• Leads, trains, and empowers serve teams dedicated to discipleship for middle and high school students.
• Works with the Kids Ministry Pastor and Student Ministry Pastor to create seamless transitions for students and families from Kids Ministry to Student Ministry.
• Works synergistically to achieve the goals of family ministry as a whole.
• Ensures all student programs resonate with the church’s mission, vision, and ethos, emphasizing discipleship growth.
• Collaborates with the Student Ministry Pastor in nurturing connections with community stakeholders such as schools and organizations for maximum ministry impact.

Total compensation range is $50,000—$70,000 per year. Applications will be accepted through December 17, 2026.

Purpose of Role:
The Ministry Assistant plays an essential role in facilitating the administrative needs of the Ministry Teams at the Parker location. This role serves as the primary administrative aid, streamlining all facets of ministry processes to ensure the vision of Journey Church is executed efficiently and effectively.

Primary Tasks:

• Preparing for Sunday morning services by scheduling Welcome Serve Team

• Provides leadership and recruits to grow the Sunday Welcome Serve Team

• Follow-up & provide next steps for First-time Guest on Sunday mornings

• Administrative support to the Parker Location Pastor and team

Total compensation range is $55,000 – $63,000 per year. Applications will be accepted through November 6, 2026.

Purpose of Role:
The Facilities Team are the primary doers who assists all ministries of Journey Church to fulfill the calling of God by maintaining best practices for maintenance and cleaning of Journey Church owned facilities, as well as by assisting in projects to provide well maintained facilities.

Primary Tasks:

• Maintain Journey Church owned buildings, equipment, physical systems and vehicles.
• Coordinate maintenance for properties including interior of all buildings & facilities in all seasons.
• Maintain the cleanliness & functional use of Journey Church owned buildings & equipment.
• Manage all cleaning & maintenance needs for Journey Church owned buildings & equipment.
• Sundays – rotate between the Journey Church owned buildings to support the location teams as needed with cleaning, room set ups, exterior/interior building readiness.
• Assist with managing all building systems, (alarms, access, HVAC, lighting, etc.).
• Assist with maintenance projects for all facilities as assigned.
• Collaborates with the team to ensure operational readiness for all events held at Journey facilities.

Total compensation range is $48,000—$52,000 per year. Applications will be accepted through November 20, 2026.

Journey Church Residency and Internship Programs are designed to help emerging church leaders understand and develop the calling God has put on their life. Through hands-on experience working in church ministry, participants hone leadership skills, explore personal growth, and refine their faith in Jesus Christ.
