- What in your life currently makes you happy, and do these things lead you to a posture of desperation and dependence on God?
- The opposite of dependence on God is being self-sufficient, driven by pride. Do any of the points from the pride mirror stand out to you? After discussing the pride mirror points, read Philippians 2:5-8. If applicable, is there an area of your life where you would like to focus on dependence on God?
- What did Jesus mean when he said, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”?
