Matthew 22:37-40
“Jesus replied, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”
Proverbs 17:17
“A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.”
Proverbs 27:17
“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.”
Proverbs 13:20
“Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.”
Proverbs 22:24-25
“Don’t befriend any people or associate with hot-tempered people, or you will learn to be like them and endanger your soul.”
Proverbs 18:24
“There are ‘friends’ who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.”
