John 21
Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?” Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.”
Proverbs 14:30
A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.
Comparison is a trap that easily consumes us, quietly stealing our joy and leaving us empty and frustrated. Our culture is an easy culprit to blame, but the truth is that the trap and sin of comparison began in the garden.
1.) Name some traps of comparison that you see around you everyday and that you find yourself easily consumed in? Or, where do you sense a lack of contentment?
2.) God has your best interest in mind and he reveals this truth throughout scripture. He cares deeply for you and has set you apart for a purpose. What is in your ‘lane’ that you know God wants you to focus on?
Hebrews 12:1-2

3.) What can you add to your week, or remove from your routine, that could help you ‘fix your eyes’ on what Jesus has for you alone?
