- How would you describe worship? How has your view of worship changed after hearing this week’s message?
- Read Luke 4. Now, taking a closer look at vs 16, why do you think Jesus went back to his hometown? Why and how are his actions an expression of worship?
- In Matthew, Jesus calls the disciples to follow him and it’s amazing how quickly they took action. The verse says, ‘at once they left their nets and followed him.’ Do you respond in the same way when God calls you to action? Although our hearts are to respond that way, we can be slow to act. Over the past few weeks we have talked about ‘The Ways of Jesus’ in the context of fasting, prayer, community and this week worship. Is God calling you to action in order to walk in His Ways? Maybe he is asking you to lay something at his feet and give it over to him, or to step into something new as you grow in your relationship with Jesus and others. How is God leading you to take action this week?
