Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left.
1. How has God’s word been a light to you during a time of unforeseen circumstance or difficulty?
2. Proverbs 29:18 gives direction and wisdom in how we look ahead. Although we don’t know the future, there is wisdom in having vision. Is there an area of your life where you would like to add clear vision to where you are heading?
3. Read Isaiah 54:2-3. God is always on the move and preparing us for what he has next. For you the next thing may be the same thing you have been doing. Share something you consistently do to seek and listen to God, or something you would like to begin doing to build a spiritual habit.
Prayer
Lord, I’m all yours. Completely.
I’ll go where you tell me to go, do what you tell me to do.
I surrender, Lord, and I’m listening.
Here am I, send me.
