With the difficult economic times and uncertainty brought on by Covid-19, we know the need for the Christmas Store will be greater than ever and have a broader audience as more people are dealing with job loss and pay cuts. If you, or a family you know, are struggling this season, we invite you to shop for your children’s gifts at the Christmas Store this year. You do not need to qualify to be a Christmas Store Shopper Family, simply complete the online registration form to join us during our private, invite only shopping session on Thursday, December 10, 4:30—7:30pm.
The safety of shoppers and volunteers is our highest priority. To ensure this, the Christmas Store will look different in 2020 than in past years. Perhaps the biggest changes are the store will be hosted at Journey Church, not in schools, and we will be spreading shopping times over three days to accommodate families in-person, while still respecting social distance guidelines. For the health and safety of everyone attending the Christmas Store, we are complying with Governor Polis’ Executive Order asking everyone in attendance (11 and up) to wear a mask while inside our church building. Lastly, in an effort to limit the number of people inside the building, we will not be able to offer childcare for volunteer families. Thank you for your flexibility as we navigate the logistics of hosting the Christmas Store during this unique time.
