Have you found your tribe?
If so, what makes this group special to you?
If not, what is holding you back?
What excuses have you created to avoid connection?
In certain times, it can be easy to isolate… and, as Scotty has mentioned before, we can become weird when we isolate!
I want to challenge you to find your tribe. If you can’t find one that suits you, create one. You will be amazed by how God will bring the right people into your life. We were created for connection! So many of us make the mistake of thinking, If people only knew who I really was, they would run away. Sister, I say, we are all imperfect, and we all thrive best in community. There is so much freedom in the phrase “me too” when you share your struggles. You are not alone in this journey.
Journey has several options for you to connect this fall—find your community, your tribe, your people. There are a few groups highlighted below, and a whole bunch more on the Journey Women’s webpage and in the Journey Groups Directory.
If none of these spark your interest, I would love to challenge you to step out in faith and create a group or community where others can find a place to be authentic. Sister, you’ve got this! The richness of life can be so much more when we choose to share our lives with others.
