We are so excited for you to invest, get involved and use your talents to bless others. The serve teams at Journey are a vital part of our community and we need your help! Take a look at the serving opportunities below for ideas on how you can get plugged in and support a Journey ministry.

If you don’t see something that aligns with your unique personality, talents or time available, no problem! Reach out and we can help find the right fit for you. There is no pressure to make a long term commitment. You are welcome to try a role or two before deciding what’s the best fit.

Birth-5th Grade

Journey Kids

If you have a passion for loving kids and encouraging the next generation then Journey Kids is the place for you. You do not need any prior experience to be part of kids ministry, we will teach you everything you need to know.

We need 40+ volunteers every week to pull off Journey Kids Sunday morning programming! We are currently looking for people to serve in all areas of kids ministry—Check-In Hosts, Lead Teachers, Room Assistants and more.

6th-8th Grade & 9th-12th Grade

Journey Middle School & High School

Following God can be a crazy, fun adventure when you are a middle or high school student! Our student team volunteers get the amazing opportunity to walk alongside youth as they seek God and navigate life’s many challenges.

We are currently looking for volunteers to jump in and help with Journey Middle School (Mid-Week events on Wednesday evenings) and Journey High School (Vibe @ 5 events on Sunday evenings) — check-in hosts, small group leaders and clean up crew.

Sunday Morning

Host Team

Are you friendly and personable? Do you have a knack for making others feel welcome? As part of the Host Team you can use your gifts to bless others and ensure Journey’s guests have a great experience on Sunday mornings.

Consider serving with your family or small group! We are looking for people to jump in a variety of roles—Greeters, Check-in Hosts, Ushers, Communion Prep and Parking Attendants.

Small Groups

Journey small groups have one simple purpose—to bring people together! Whether you want to get involved in leading an existing group, or you have an idea for a brand new group, we would love to have you serve.

Ready to get connected? We are looking for Small Group Leaders, Women’s Group Leaders, Mentor Moms and more. We can’t wait to connect with you.

Behind the Scenes

Tech Team

Have you ever thought it would be interesting to go behind the scenes and see what happens during a Journey church service? Well this is your chance to be a part of making the magic happen!

You do not need any prior experience to join the Tech Team! We will teach you everything you need to know. We would like to build a larger team of Slide Operators, Camera Operators and Online Experience Host.

Special Events

Want to get involved at Journey, but have a crazy life that doesn’t allow you to commit on Sundays? Be part of pulling off one of our annual or one time special events like Marriage Conference, Easter services or the Christmas Store.

Event volunteers come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. We need everything from coordinators to decorators and everything in between. Let us know you are interested in events and we’ll find the perfect fit for you.

Life Safety Team

Do you have a heart for helping keep people safe? The Life Safety Team is looking for men and women who want to be part of the mission to create a safe environment for everyone on our campus.

Members from the Life Safety team serve during Sunday services, Journey Students MID-WEEK and other special events. We are especially looking to add a few individuals with previous medical/first aid experience to our team.

Facilities Team

Keeping Journey looking great is no small feat. The Facilities Team oversees all kinds of details at the church building—exterior maintenance and landscaping, building restoration and maintenance, minor fixes, special projects and more.

If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and don’t mind breaking a sweat, then the Facilities Team is the place for you! Wether you are interested in helping with small projects on a regular basis, or want to assist with larger products more periodically, we appreciate you jumping in to help.
