Promotion Sunday is June 1! 
We’re celebrating with ice cream as all elementary kids move up to their new classes for the 2025–2026 school year!
Kindergarten Promotion
Children who are five or six years old and starting Kindergarten in Fall 2025 will move up to the Kindergarten class.
If your child is five but not starting Kindergarten this fall, they’ll stay in the 4–5s class until the 2026–2027 school year.
5th Grade to Middle School
We know the jump to Middle School is a big one, so we’ve created a summer transition plan to support rising 6th graders.
From June through early August, 5th graders are encouraged to:
- Continue attending their 5th-grade class on Sunday mornings
- Begin attending Middle School Midweek on Wednesdays
Rising 6th graders may also join:
- Sunday morning Kids Ministry
- Middle School Midweek
- Middle School Bible Study
- All Middle School events (excluding mission trips and Summer Camp)
- Journey Kids Summer Camp
Starting in August, they’ll officially begin attending Middle School full-time.
