Identity, week 1
God has given you an identity. Your identity is what makes you…you. It is how you view yourself. It is who you
think you are. The world can put a label on you, and many of us have based our identities on these labels. The
problem is that God did not create you to find your identity in the labels of this world. They will ultimately leave you
empty and disappointed. God created you to find your identity in who He says you are, and the more you
understand the labels He gives you, the sweeter your experience of life will be.
