The Gospel According to Hosea and Gomer – Cory Bragg – November 17, 2019

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” – Ephesians 2:8-10

The Bible is one big story. Even though it is a collection of 66 books written by 40 authors over the span of 2,000 years, it is tied together by one unifying theme. It’s the story of a God who loves us so much. Though we have drifted away from Him because of our sin, He pursues us through a sacrificial love and did everything He could to pave a way for us to have a personal relationship with Him, promising us eternity in Heaven through Jesus, the cross, and the resurrection. There is no greater story that has or will continue to be told, and God has invited us, through His Son Jesus, to be a part of this story.

Key Verses: Ephesians 2:8-10, John 1:11-13, 2 Corinthians 3:1-3
