Construction Days, Hands-on Help Needed

These are hands-on work crews specific for installing sound panels, building projects around the new building, and lifting heavy items. The skills needed are the ability to cut a straight line, use a hand-held drill, use a level, and follow clear directions. Please take a look at this sign-up form, read, and select the crews you can assist:

We are targeting these dates for some specific manpower items:

  • -Sound Panel Installation (afternoon/evenings TBD  (team of 8-10 people)…targeting Sunday July 2nd currently.
  • Installing storage cabinets and counter tops.
  • -Portable Stage(s) Construction July TBD (team of 4-6 people)

Move Day, All Church Items: July 7th

Friday, July 7th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm we need a team of 30-40 people to use their strength to load boxes into trucks from our Centennial location and unload at our new Journey home at 9009 Clydesdale Road. This is not “kid-friendly” but anyone who is not afraid of lifting boxes or furniture over the age of 16 encouraged to help!

Church Packing Day: June 25

Packing day Sunday, June 25th from 12-4pm.  This will be our big All Church packing day, and the push to get as much packed on this day as possible.  Lunch and bottled water will be provided.  No childcare provided – not safe for children.  Adults only.  Sign up at

Journey Kids Ministry: June 25th–July 5th

It takes a village to move churches! Help us pack up our rooms at the current Journey location and/or unpack at the new building. These are the dates we need your help: 1). Packing at the current location: June 25th–June 28th. 2). Unpacking at the new building: July 2nd — July 5th

All packing will take place at the current location and unpacking will be at the new location. Childcare won’t be provided during these times.  Please sign up for any time-slot shifts you are able to make. Thanks so much!!

Ministry Packing Days: June 25, 26, 27

We need your help packing up everything for the move, for every ministry, and the entire building. There are 4 opportunities to help. No childcare is provided and no children should be present. It will not be a safe environment for kiddos. We will provide lunch/dinner and bottled water.

Family Help Days: Sunday, July 2 AND July 9th

We will not have regular services on Sunday, July 2 and Sunday, July 9, however, we still need you!
On both of these Sundays, we will have many tasks to complete to set up the church to be ready for our first service on July 16th! (These may include putting together furniture, spreading bark dust in the playground, cleaning, station set up, chair set up, etc, ).
